World MS Day a great success

Many thanks for a great celebration of WORLD MS DAY on Wednesday 30th May.

Interesting speakers, good company, helpful staff and a very well organised event made for a great occasion.

Thank you to Claire and the organising committee, the speakers, those who donated the lovely raffle prizes and the cakes, the staff from MS Centre and Woodhaven, and to the participants who kept up a lively question and answer session after every talk. 

Vincent Hunt gave a very interesting talk about the work of the voluntary fundraising committee, and asked that all clients from the MS Centre subscribe to the MS 300 Club Draw, which is a major fundraiser for us.  Any fundraising event, however small, all adds up to making up the shortfall in funding which is badly needed to keep the MS Centre running.

A big congratulations to Liam Hunt who was presented with a marble clock in recognition of all the work he has done over the years for the MS Therapy Centre.
